I bought this to replace a Johnson Control module that had become flaky. Installation was fairly easy. There were two things I had to figure out beforehand:
1. The terminal marked "Blind terminal" is not connected to anything internally--it's a dummy terminal. You don't need to connect it to anything.
2. The original JC control had four ground terminals; the Fenwal has 3. My JC had a short white wire that connected the rear plate of the module to ground. The fenwal has this connection internally, and doesn't need the wire.
Before I purchased this item, I called parts4heating's phone number to get some information. The lady I spoke with was helpful and knowledgeable. Overall I had a great experience doing business with them.
